Namaste!

poetry and the art of recklessness

"how sad it is when a luxurious imagination is obliged in self-defence to deaden its delicacy in vulgarity, and riot in things attainable that it may not have leisure to go mad
after things that are not." *john keats, july 1818
let us riot in the unattainable!
poetry is when the animal bursts forth, inflamed.

*and dean young is spectacular to have written this essay in poets&writers magazine

i want...please

"words are like money; there is nothing so useless, unless when in actual use."
*samuel butler, writer 1835-1902

i want.
i want to be employed by you. i want you to give me a job.
i want to write for you, to help you create, to give you a fresh vision,
to collaborate with you. i want this blog of heaping handfuls of my writings to be
a taste of what i can provide for you.
publish me. help edit my crap. help weed out the snarls.
employ me, damnit.
send me to where anthony bourdain gets shipped off to. yes. i want that.
i do want that. a lot. i want to travel. on your dime, if that's alright.
i want my words to be in actual use. somehow. somef*ckingway.
i want something to come of this, and i hope you can help me.
if not...

then, namaste, m*tha f*cka.
and enjoy!
